By accessing and using our IP Geolocation API service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.

2. Description of Service

Our IP Geolocation API provides geolocation data based on IP addresses. The service includes:

  • IP address geolocation lookup
  • Country, city, and regional information
  • Timezone and postal code data
  • ISP and ASN information
  • Coordinate data (latitude/longitude)

Service availability and features are subject to your subscription plan.

3. API Key and Account Security

3.1 API Key Usage

Upon purchasing a subscription, you will receive a unique API key. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your API key
  • All activities that occur under your API key
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not use the API to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malicious code or spam
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or bypass rate limits
  • Resell or redistribute API access without authorization
  • Use the service for illegal surveillance or tracking
  • Scrape or harvest data in violation of our acceptable use policy

4. Rate Limits and Fair Use

Each subscription plan includes a daily rate limit. Exceeding your rate limit may result in:

  • Temporary throttling of requests
  • HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) responses
  • Account suspension in cases of abuse

Rate limits reset daily at midnight UTC.

5. Payment and Billing

5.1 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, or cryptocurrency processors). We do not store your payment card information. Payment data is handled exclusively by our payment processors in accordance with their terms and privacy policies.

5.2 Subscription Plans

Subscription plans are billed on a monthly basis unless otherwise specified. Charges are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

5.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at the original price until renewal.

6. Data Accuracy and Warranty Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: The IP geolocation data is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate geolocation data, but we do not guarantee:

  • 100% accuracy of location data
  • Real-time data updates
  • Availability of data for all IP addresses
  • Uninterrupted service availability

Geolocation accuracy may vary based on IP address type, database updates, and other factors beyond our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months
  • We are not responsible for decisions made based on our geolocation data
  • We are not liable for third-party payment processor errors or data breaches

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible. We are not liable for:

  • Service interruptions due to maintenance
  • Third-party infrastructure failures
  • Force majeure events
  • DDoS attacks or other malicious activities

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

9.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • You engage in fraudulent activity
  • Payment fails or chargebacks occur
  • You abuse the service or exceed fair use limits

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the service, including but not limited to software, databases, API design, and documentation, remain our exclusive property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the API according to these terms.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • We do not track or profile users
  • Order information is used solely for order processing
  • Payment data is handled by third-party processors
  • We do not sell or share your personal information

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of our jurisdiction.
